Jasmine is a very popular naturally scented green tea from Fuzhou City of Fujian Province in China. As a city planting jasmine for over 2,000 years, Fuzhou’s jasmine flowers rank top in China in terms of quantity and quality, and so does the tea scented with them. The method of scenting jasmine tea has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage in the world. During the scenting process, green tea and jasmine petals are well rolled, mixed and then piled up in the wooden box overnight. When the fragrance and flavour of jasmine is fully absorbed, the petals will be discarded and replaced with fresh ones. The cycle repeats 7 times in making this Jasmine Green to create a rich and beautiful taste, adding a calming and stress-relieving effect.
Simply add 3g of tea to a 600ml teapot, then pour in 85°C hot water. Let it steep for 5 minutes, allowing the flavours to gently unfold. If you enjoy a stronger flavour, feel free to add a bit more tea. Pour, sip, and enjoy your moment of tranquility.
