Spring Gardenia
Size: 50g
Spring Gardenia is one of the classical wulong (oolong) teas produced in Anxi County, south of Fujian province in China. Although it is lesser-known when compared with the famous Anxi Iron Goddess of Mercy, the soft and comforting taste is definitely worth a try. It is made using the traditional tea-processing method that was widely taken in the 1970s, called “Gufa” in Chinese. Unlike moderately oxidized Iron Goddess of Mercy, Spring Gardenia goes through a higher level of oxidation and then gets roasted-dried for a longer time to enhance the sweet and mellow mouthfeel. The delicate gardenia flower fragrance with a hint of pear flavor makes it an ideal cup of tea to sip and savor, just like a spring wandering.
Simply add 3.5g of tea to a 600ml teapot, then pour in 100°C hot water. Let it steep for 5 minutes, allowing the flavours to gently unfold. If you enjoy a stronger flavour, feel free to add a bit more tea. Pour, sip, and enjoy your moment of tranquility.
For those who prefer a more refined experience, detailed Gongfu brewing instructions can be found on the tea packaging.
